Week 8 - Challenge 6 - Core & Cavity Design

Aim:

To be able to model core and cavity for the switch bezel

Given class-A

Extracted the boundaries &Intersection taken

Drawn two lines on the walls

Drawn the bisecting line for the two lines drawn from the walls

Then create a bisecting line for the previous lines

Then perform the draft analysis for the class-A

Then Create the CLass-B,

Then Create the class-C

Then join both class-A&C.

Next, trim out the Class-A&C with B then we will get the closed surface,

By using close surface tool Create the Solid.

Then perform the draft ANALYSIS For the solid.

Now Next step is to create the parting surface for the above.

The parting surface is the surface that divides both cavity and core.

and it can be obtained by trimming te class-B with joint of Class-A&C

The line is separating the two Halves Of the mold.
