Week 8 - Challenge 5 - Door Trim Lower
AIM: Create the Door Trim Plastic component through the given Class-A surface. To begin with, the tooling axis for the given Class-A Surface should be created meeting the requirements of the draft angle and at the end perform the Draft analysis on the model.
Take the Thickness of the component to be 2.5 mm
GIVEN:
Class A Surface:

Step 1: Create Tooling Axis,

Step 2: Perform draft analysis on the given class A surface to find its manufactufacturing feasibility.
From the aove result, we got to know that the Class A surface is manufaturable.
Step 3: Create Surface B at 2.5 mm of Class A Surface. Ensure the direction of the offset is correct.

When offset, few elements are omitted (especially fillets). Patch these disconnected elements to make the surface a one element.
Step 4: Now create C surface by sweeping the extracted edges, with referecne to surface by 90 degrees.

Step 5: Join the above C surface with A surface.

Step 6: Trim the above surface with Class B Surface.

Step 7: Close the above surface to create a part.

Step 8: Perform draft analysis on the part.
