Week 8 - Challenge 5 - Core & Cavity Design

AIM: To create the core and cavity block for the switch bezel.

OBJECTIVE:

1. To create a parting surface and parting line.
2. To create a core block for the switch bezel.
3. To create a cavity block for the switch bezel.

CORE AND CAVITY

Core and cavity are the parts of the mold which gives shape to the component. Core is that part of the mold which has impression on the part and cavity is that part of the mold which has depression in the mold. In this project a core and cavity is created for the switch bezel designed earlier.
