Week 8 - Challenge 3 - Coin Holder Design
COIN HOLDER
Aim
- To Create a Thickened suraface and dpplying Draft Analysis for the given Class-A surface.
Procedure
- First we have to study the Class-A and finding its Tooling Axis.
- First we are splitting the surface into several parts and create the Class-B and Class-c Surface.

TOOLING AXIS
- We are Creating the tooling axis for the above normal to the surface of the base of the as it is not much of a deviation of then surface.

- After Creating the Tool axis we are going to create the Class-B and Class-C surface.
CLASS-A SURFACE
- We will seperate the surface into seperate parts.

CLASS-B SURFACE
- The Class-B is Created by Extracting The Seperate parts of the Class-A surface.
- After Extracting We Will untrim the components and extrapolate them to a certain distance with point continuity.
- Then we will trim to get the required shape and we will give fillets in required areas and the Offset it to A distance of 2.5MM.

CLASS-C SURFACE
- In Class-C we are going to take boundary from the Class-A surface and by Using Sweep Command Along the surfacewhich is adjacent to the boundary and we are doing the sweep at 90°.

DRAFT ANALYSIS
- We are going to perform draft analysis on the closed surface along the Tool axis which should be in between 0°-3°.

From the above diagram the draft analysis is within our Range.
