Drawing 3 challeng 3 week 8

1. As obtained class A surface , first of all alooted different colour to differt geomerical surface of base bracket.

2.Than after thinked for best direction of tooling axis ,which is found to be Z direction best suitable. As there is no hidden geometry and hole.

3.By using Boundary features extract the profile for that first made an axis system to the base profile centre point .

3. By using centre point of new axis system a line drawn perpendicular to the base surface .

4. All geontricall set as per requirement were inserted (Ex tooling axis, B surface etc.).

5.Multi extracted all side walls and extrapolate them upto base surface limit.

6. before extrapolation untrim all the surfaces.

7. Multiextract all top side wall including curvature profile and giving offset value of 2.5 mm for every surface.

8. Extrapolated all of them and then trim it with base surface and side wall middle portion.

9. Follow same process for projected portion.

10. Give all edge fillet radius.

11.. Thus we get B surface, Now using boundary feature extract surface boundary of class B surface and alos multi extrat class B suraface .

9. Hence B surface obtained.

10. Class A surface boundary were obtained and sweep to value of 3 degree draft and class C will obtaine.

11. Now using swept command with wire surface referance feature Make a C surface perpendical to the tolling axis direction

12. Hide the multiextracted surface and trim it class B surface .

13. Now using join command Class A surface and trimed C and B surface form a closed surface.

14. Thus a close profile obatined checking it by boundary command

15. Now go to part design and using cloased surface command a solid geometry is formed.

16. Again in suraface shape and desig work bench draft analysis is done by setting compass at proper position in drafting (tooling axis).

17. Thus obtained desired green colour in draft analysis.
