Challenge

Week 8 - Challenge 1 - Draft Analysis on a Fan Cover

Initial check all the surface is closed completely with help of boundry option.

we have clear the tooling axis with by analysis each axis
First check for X-axis where intersect surface with YZ plane at center point of surface.

Inspecting perpendicular which are ok with draft analysis.

Next checking angular line creating two vertex into line & again do extenting the vertex into line.

Then Bisect two angular line with reference to point to form of tooling axis in X-axis veiw.

After check for Y-axis where intersect surface with zx plane at center point of surface.

Inspecting perpendicular which are ok with draft analysis.

Next checking angular line creating two vertex into line & again do extenting the vertex into line.

Then Bisect two angular line with reference to point to form of tooling axis in Y-axis veiw.

Publish the class A surface & Tooling axis for each pickable to avoid confussion.

Draft Analysis:

Click draft analysis tool, a draft analysis dialog box opens where you control angle to analysis

Minimum tooling axis industry maintain is 3 deg.

In mode option contain quick analysis & detailed analysis tools where we use quick analysis which contain three options such as:

1. Green color indicates surface satisfies the draft condition
2. Red color indicates surface at 0 degree &
3. Blue color indicated value less than 0 degree.

In draft Analysis direction option click compass pick red color point drag & keep at tooling axis, lock the draft direction.

If surface found blue color invert the draft direction with the help of inverse direction option.

Then run Analysis under running point to find the draft angle at differnt point in the surface.

No Highlight representation used to unhighlight the surface.

Light symbol icon used to dim & brighten the surface.
