Week 8 - Challenge 1 - Draft Analysis on a Fan Cover

OBJECTIVE:

To Create the tooling axis for the given Fan cover model meeting the requirements of the draft angle and perform the Draft analysis on the model.

STEPS INVOLED:

1.Boundry line is created for the class A surface

2. point and axis systems were instered to the boundary.

3. intersection lines were created along xz direction.

4.tooling creating axis was made along the x direction by using line bisect method, which will create a bisecting line in between the two line at same angle or different angle. The bisecting angle will always be in the middle of the two lines.

5.tooling creating axis was amde along y direction with line intersecting method.

6.with the help of tooling creating axises of x and y the actual tooling axis as created by line instersecting method

7. after creating the tooling axis the tooling axis and the class A surface was made in publication for the easy convinence.

8. for the draft analysis , first the material was selected and by instering the featured darft analysis form the insert menu. the folloig menu bar ill pop up on the screen

9. the axis sould be draged and placed in the toolong axis along z direction.and the green value should be 3 degree should be corrected. And the output shuld be in green colour which means, it it ok for the part to be created at that angle.

OUTPUT
