Week 8 - Challenge 1 - Base Bracket Design
Tooling axis creation:
- First analysis of class A surface should be made to decide the best direction, or the direction of the lowest manufacturing cost which happens to be on the Z axis, in which a hole is there.
- Next the class A was intersected along YZ plane, and a tangent line was drown on the red surface (see below) as it is the surface with highest uncertantity to clear (blue surface was neglected due to its 45 deg angle and small dimension)
- Same procedure was done on the left hand side and finally a line bisecting the 2 lines drawn and selected as the tooling axis

Draft Analysis:
- After deciding the draft direction and obtaining a closed body, a draft analysis was done using draft anlysis in the analysis tab and after setting the compass aligned with the tooling axis and setting the draft to minimum of 3 deg, the analysis showed that the part can be easily cleared and thus the analyis is satisfactory
