Week 8 - Challenge 1 - Base Bracket Design
- Screenshots of the Draft analysis report for the given Class-A surface

In the above figure the green color reflects the draft angle of minimim 3 degree.
- Screenshots of the Draft analysis report for the final plastic component

In the above figure the green color reflects the draft angle of minimim 3 degree and the pink color shows the draft angle between 3 to 0 and the grey color is for below 0
- Screenshots of the solid model with the proper color code of the draft angle in various orientations

n the above figure the green color reflects the draft angle of minimim 2.9 degree and the red color shows the draft angle between 2.9 to 0 and the blue color is for below 0

The below figure shows the draft analysis in reverse direction.

DRAFT ANGLE - A draft angle is a taper applied to the vertical walls of the injection-molded component to assist with releasing the part from the mold.Draft angles are a required feature of injection-molded custom parts. A functional part for injection molding has to have draft angles that face both the cavity and core sides. This will reduce the risk of damage to the parts and ensure that they can be ejected from the machine. As the molten plastic flows into the closed die and fills the cavity, the material shrinks inside the mold upon cooling and as a result grips the core.
For tooling axis-
1.Fist we take a point and then insert axis to it then make a line (green color line) along which the material is to be removed then intersceting it weth the class A surface.

Then making lines along with intersecting surface

Taking reference to the both line and then drawing the bisecting line which is skye blue in color.
