Week 7 Challenge - Assembly Workbench

Hereby i going to explain how the QUICK RETURN MECHANISM AN CV JOINT are designed and assembled using CATIA V5 software.

1.First all parts are sketched using sketching workbench and saved in the different part files in the format of CAT.Part.

2.Then pad that sketches and give the required dimensions mention in that drawing sheet.

3.After padding use boolean operation of ADD and REMOVE wherever necessary.

4.When creating the parts in generative work bench make sure that all are ISO CONSTRAINED and all surfaces are closed.

5.Save all the parts in CAT.Part format.

6.Then go to assembly workbench and open all the parts using open part to assemble together.

7.Then assemble them accordingly using constraint tool box and move parts using tool bar.

8.Then save this assembly file as a CAT.product file.

9.Then using drawing page make drafting for each parts and also for assembled parts.
