Week 5 Challenge : Surface wrap on Automotive Assembly

Aim: Surface wrap for given geometry models`

Objectives:

Clear all geometry errors and delete unwanted surface for surface wrap, after clear all geometry errors merge all 3 models and perform surface wrap.

Section 1: Topology

Clear all the errors in 3 models

Transmission 

Gear box

Engine model

Delete unwanted surface which one not involve our task

Merge

After clearing all the error and for surface wrap we need close volume and all open faces and merge 3 cad models

Section 2:Surface wrap

Before going to surface wrap delete unwanted PIDs in PID manager then go mesh in this select elements then

select wrap in this select constant length after this click on constant wrap octree then give mesh target

length is 3mm. after this click on contents move all PIDs into octree scenario side then click ok. After this click

on run surface wrap on automotive assembly successfully generated and examine.

 Results

•  We successfully cleared all the errors and deleted unwanted surfces and merged 3 cad models
• We successfully performed surface wrap 3mm target length
