Week 4- Challenge

Objective: To join two parallel brackets as per given specifications

Procedure:

1. The geometry has been imported and the command geometry clean-up has been used on the same
2. All the unnecessary lines and points have been removed and mid-surface is created by keeping the extraction setting mentioned in the picture.

3. The main geometry has been removed and washer created around the circles of mid-surface.
4. Both upper and lower brackets have been organized.

5. The meshing of the upper bracket has been done with the element size as 5mm for mixed elements and keeping the mesh to the current component.

6. The upper bracket mesh has been reflected to the lower bracket using reflect command in the Y-axis direction.
7. As per given instructions both the brackets have been united with Rod, Beam, Bar,xxx and spring respectively.
