Week-3 Challenge: ADVISOR Tool

1. I prepare a model for EV_defaults_in file and make cargo mass is 500 kg with all other default conditions, and cheked can the vehicle travel for 45 km with FTP drive cycle. For making the battery fully discharge I have increses the no of driving cycle to 3. as shown in below image

Conclusin : As shown in above results by incrasing cargo weight and keeping all other parameters the vehicle is unable to run for 45 km it can be run for 41.4 km

2. Now I increses the battery capacity for the above model by default it was 25 now I have make it to 28 and the followings are the results

Conclusion : As seen in above results by increasing the battery capacity vehicle is capable for to run 46.3 km then vehicle will stop.

3. I have Performed gradeability test with PRIUS_Jpn_defaults_in file for the diffrent values of the speed the results are shown as below

A] At 55 mph the gredability is 1.7%

B] At 65 mph the gredability is 1.2%

Conclusion : As seen in a above two results if we increses the speed of the vehicle the gredability will be decreses.
