Que-1):

For EV_defaults_in file, if cargo mass is 500 kg with all other default conditions, can the vehicle travel for 45 km with FTP drive cycle? Conclude your observations.

Changing the Drivetrain config to "ev"

Selecting the Load file to "EV_defaults_in"

Changing th Cargo mass to 500kg

Changing the Drive cycle to "CYC_FTP"

And keeping all other pameters default values RUN the AVISOR

The Following Reasults are optained

Oservation:

The Drive cycle FTP has the total distance of 17.7 km only in one cycle, at the end of the results the vehicle has traveled the total distance fo 17.8 km. It cannot run 45km because the 1 FTP drive cycle has total distance of 17.7 km only.

Que-2):

In the above case, try changing the battery capacity and repeat the simulation.

The battery capacity has changed from 25 kw to 50 kw in Energy storage block

Observation:

when it was 25kw after running the 1 drive cycle of FTP with a distance of 17.8 km the Estimation of SOC i.e., ess_soc_hist droped from 1 to 0.6. Where as when the batter capacity has doubled i.e, 50kw the Estimation of SOC i.e., ess_soc_hist droped from 1 to 0.8 i.e., half the previous value. As the battery capacity increases Distance travel increases and drop in SOC of batter will decreases.

Que-3):

Perform gradeability test with PRIUS_Jpn_defaults_in file. Compare your results in table and conclude.
