1. For EV_defaults_in file, if cargo mass is 500 kg with all other default conditions, can the vehicle travel for 45 km with FTP drive cycle? Conclude your observations.

Ans:

Mass consider for the EVcargo is 500KG.

One FTP cycle equal 17.77km so that if cover more than 45km then we have to increse 3 times.

Distance cover by cargo in three ftp.

Result:

1) Distance covered by three FTP cycle( more than 45 km).

2) Battery discharge cas covered maximum distance.

3) Here zero emission for 500kg mass.

2. In the above case, try changing the battery capacity and repeat the simulation.

After changing the battery capacity 300V to 500V.

State of charging : By changing the 25 to 35 module.

Result:

1)Distance covered by in three FTP cycle more than 45km .

2) increse the battery capacirty trhe SOC will be 0 to 7500s.

3. Perform gradeability test with PRIUS_Jpn_defaults_in file

Compare your results in table and conclude.

Ans:

• Gradeability is the ability of any vehicle to climb uphill and also have speed.
• If your vehicle has 100% gradeability, then it will climb even 45° easily, if you stop your vehicle in the middle then it will climb again easily.

1) if the speed of 40mph in 10sec.

then the greadiability is 2.5%.

and the speed is 64.4 km/h.

2)at the speed of 50mph in 10 sec.

then the greadibility is 2%, and speed is 80.2km/h.

3)at the speed of 60mph in 10s.

greadibility is 1.5%,and speed 96.6km/h

4)at the speed of 70mph in 10 sec .

greadibility is 1%, and speed is 112.2km/h.

Output:
