Week-3 Challenge: ADVISOR Tool
AIM: TO USE THE ADVISER TOOL FOR SIMULATION
Objective:
1. For EV_defaults_in file, if cargo mass is 500 kg with all other default conditions, can the vehicle travel for 45 km with FTP drive cycle? Conclude your observations.
2. In the above case, try changing the battery capacity and repeat the simulation.
3. Perform gradeability test with PRIUS_Jpn_defaults_in file ,Compare your results in table and conclude.
Introduction:
How to start advisor tool;
When u click download advisor tool from chrome or link website after that has to be save the file has to be placed is same folder of matlab and advisor tool.
After then open matlab goes in commander page then enter advisor it will shows then select matrics option for shows parameters are in kmph then enter that has to open file it will run through system given pre entered values shows and please observe all parameters and u can change also.
The benefits of using advisor:
> To evaluate the enerdy management system for your hybrid vehicle fuel converter.
>estimate the fuel economy vehicle that have not yet to built ever been
>find a drive cycle of given duration and time how much lenth reached at certain speed means what is kmph will find easy
>To calibrate the parameters and change the inputs then how much percentage of efficiency has drafted
Advisor tool has three(3) windows
>vehicle input wimdow
>simulation parameter window
>result or final calculation graph window
Sample of advisor tool input :

after continue the commands window we can set our drive cycles....
After press the run button new command will show of drive cycle
vechile has travelled distance from drive cycle 1 is 12 km
we know how to change cycles one by one so we goes to 2nd one

b.energy storage system with 28 modules and 3 drive cycles....see below
3. Perform gradeability test with PRIUS_Jpn_defaults_in file

condition.2 is
speed at 25kmph/gredebiliy=6
RESULT:
We know the understand of gradebility is same when speed decreses fuel will less consumes and speed increses of same drade fuel consumption is high..
And vehicle speed incresed the gradiability was decreased....
