Assemble and apply GD&T to the butterfly valve assembly drawing

Ans:-

Aim:- To assemble and apply GD&T to the butterfly valve assembly.

Introduction:- Butterfly valve is used to control the flow of liquid inside the pipe lines. With the help of lever we can operate valve. While it is mounted with flanges present on body to the the pipe. Following are the steps involved in assembly of butterfly valve :-

1. Firstly we need to import all the parts in assembly workbench.
2. We can import each component seperately, but by importing all the components we will get rough imaginary sketch of whole assembly.
3. Then by moving each component to required position roughly.
4. Firstly we need to attached disc over the shaft and fastened with the help of screw.
5. Then this small assembly need to attached to the valve body.
6. Remaining all other components are now attached to valve body by using assembly constraints.
7. After whole assembly it need to convert into 2D drawing.
8. In 2D drawing we need to attached GD&T at differentlocations according to requirement in assembly and manufacturing.

Conclusion:- In this way we can assemble butterfly valve and apply GD&T to it.
