Week 10 - Challenge 1- Attachment Feature Creation (Ribs & Screw Boss)
TOOLING AXIS

DRAFT ANALYSIS OF CLASS A SURFACE

some parts of the class a surface are not clearing with minimum draft angle with main tooling axis .
CLASS B SURFACE

CLASS C SURFACE

CLOSED BODY

RIBS AND SCREW BOSSES

RIBS : ribs provide means to economical stiffness and strength in molten parts without increasing overall thickness.they also facilitate
. locating and arresting components of an assembly
.provide allignments in mating parts
. acting as stops or guides for mechanisms.
SCREW BOSS
bosses find use in many part designs as points for attachment and assembly. the most commom variety consists of cylindrical projectionwith holes designed to receive screws, threaded inserts, or other type of fastening hardware.

TREE STRUCTURE

FINAL REPORT
create the correct tooling axis for the A surface given and perform draft analysis of 3 degree ,if it is clearing then create b surface and c surface with respect to the tooling axis and after final trim convert it into closed body using closed body command. check draft analysis of closed body for 3 degree minimum draft angle.
create engineering features like screw boss and ribs as per mentioned design standards and give minimum draft angle to the features and attach it to the closed body itself.
