Project - Analysis of a practical automotive wiring circuit

2.Battery
Battery is a source of electric power consisting of one or more electrochemical cells with external connections for powering electical devices
working: when a battery is supplying power, its positive terminal is cathode and its negative terminal is anode the negative terminal is the source of electrons that will flow through an external circuit to the positive terminal. a redox reaction converts high energy reactants to lower energy products and the free electrons difference is delivered to external circuit as electrical energy
AMMETER: instrument for measuring Ac or Dc current in Ampheres.in this circuit ammeter is used for measuring wide range of current values because at high value only small portion of the current is directed through the meter mechanism.
GENERATOR
a generator is a device which converts motive power into electrical power for use in an electrical circuit
Working : generator do not create elecricity instead they convert mechanical/chemical energy into electrical energy . they do it by capturing power of motion and turning it into elecrical energy by forcing electrons from the external through an electric circuit
3.the fuse will blow , generally fuses are used to protect the wiring ,wires for 5 amps circuit cannot handle 10amps current .so 5 amp fuse avoid current flow by creating an open circuit.
6. Fuse and Ammeter are connected in series
fuse are always connected in series with the circuit to be protected from excess current flow.when the fuse blow, it will open the circuit and stop current flow.
ammeter is a device used to measure the amount of current flow in the circuit.if it is connected in parallel it will draw most of the current and get damaged therefore it is connected in series.
5. tail stop and dome light are connected in parallel . in parallel the positive side connected to positive and negative side connected to all negative side so it increases the run time while maintaining the voltage where voltage remains the same.
4.if 500W battery is working for 3hours you need 1500wh battery ,consider battery voltage = 12v
then 1500/12=125Ah so requires minimum 150 Ah.more than 200 Ah capacity is good.
