Week 10 - Challenge 1- Attachment Feature Creation (Ribs & Screw Boss)

AIM -

Create the rib for the Drill Handle considering the design rules mentioned in the picture.

AIM -

Create the Screw boss for the Drill Handle considering the design rules mentioned in the video.

General Guidelines for Bosses:

• Draft - 0.5 degrees on the walls of boss
• Thickness - Typically 40%* of the nominal wall at the base.
• Height to Diameter Ratio - 3:1
• Radii - 0.25mm maximum radii.
  

Given Class A surface - This class A is given with a question.

Class B surface - For class B surface we offset class A surface to 2.5 mm and fill the patches with fill command.

Class C surface - for the class c surface we have to sweep it from the class A boundary.

Final surface - After joining Class A and Class C and trimming it with Class B we get our final surface.

CLOSED SURFACE B SURFACE FEATURES SCREWBOSS AND RIBS - After completion of the closed surface of the door handle we have to create B surface features like ribs and screw-boss so dor that we first create sketch on offset plane and with the help of surface thickness and pad command we created ribs and screwboss of given dimensions and rules and after creating them we have to assemble them in main part .

RIB ROOT DIMENSIONS - According to design rules of ribs we have to check rib root dimension.
