Usage of Navigation tool , Timeliner and Clash Detection test using Naviswork
1) Use the Architecture/ Structure Project file developed by you in Week 6 to 8. Export the Revit architecture and structure model to Navisworks Cache file following the export settings discussed in class.
ANS - AIM - TO Export the Revit architecture and structure model to Navisworks Cache file.
PROCEDURE -1. download new export and export the model from revit in new format.

2. open the file using file location in naviswork.

RESULT- I have Exported the Revit architecture and structure model to Navisworks Cache file
2) Use Navigate Tool to walk around the model and walk through the rooms created and record your moving as animation in your Navisworks file.
ANS - AIM - to Use Navigate Tool to walk around the model and walk through the rooms created and record moving as animation in your Navisworks file.
PROCEDURE -1. go yo viewpoint, select walk.

2.click on save viewpoint, select record option.

3. walk around the floor layout.
4.after walking stop recording and save file with proper nomenclature.

RESULT- I Used Navigate Tool to walk around the model and walk through the rooms created and record moving as animation in your Navisworks file.
3) Use Navigate tool to use Realism feature to walk through the model and record moving as animation in Navisworks file.
ANS - AIM - to Use Navigate tool to use Realism feature to walk through the model and record your moving as animation in Navisworks file.
PROCEDURE - 1. go to viewports, select realism and select all options.

2. select walk and then select record.

3. walk through floor and save video .

RESULT- I Used Navigate tool to use Realism feature to walk through the model and record moving as animation in Navisworks file.
4) Embed both architecture and structure *.nwc file to your Navisworks file. Create a clash detection test between the two models
a. Run the Clash Detection Test
b. Study the clashes between the two models
c. List which of the clashes could be approved
d. List which of the clashes could be neglected ( will be taken care later)
e. List which of the clashes can be resolved
f. Save the results after color coding the clashes to the Navisworks file
g. In case of resolution annotate the clash and save the view to defined views in Navisworks.
ANS - AIM - to Embed both architecture and structure *.nwc file to Navisworks file. and Create a clash detection test between the two models
PROCEDURE -1. open structural model. append the architectural model to it.

2. click on clash detect add a test,

3. select two models and run test.

RESULT- i have Embeded both architecture and structure *.nwc file to Navisworks file and Created a clash detection test between the two models.
5) Using the Timeliner feature in Navisworks prepare a schedule for the project developed in week 6 to 8 by adding reasonable assumptions for task start date and end date and simulate the task completion as a visual simulation. Record it and save the timeline simulation to Navisworks file.
ANS - AIM - to prepare a schedule for the project and Record it and save the timeline simulation to Navisworks file.
PROCEDURE -1. open te model.click on timeline. it will open timeliner window.

2. create new task and add various tasks in order of performing the construction.

3. name the task add their start and end date.

4. select relevant elements to each task.

5. after creating all required tasks run the simulation. and save it with proper name.

RESULT- I have prepared a schedule for the project and Record it and saved the timeline simulation to Navisworks file.
