Underbody Coating

Underbody coating:

Underbody coatings are used to protect the vehicle from corrosion or environmental effect. the underbody coating is very important for the life of the vehicle, The main purpose of undercoating is to check rust especially in the body components like frame rails along with other exposed metal parts. Underbody coating can also reduce wear and tear.

Most of the industries eliminate the undercoating because of competition to reduce the price they reduce or eliminate the process, because of the increasing price of the vehicle.

Purpose of Underbody coating:

Prevent from stone:

it prevents form number of stones on the road if this coating were not there the body of the vehicle was badly affected and started corrosion on those parts so we used the coating to prevent these types of obstacles.

Avoid Rust:

It plays an important role in keeping corrosion-free in our vehicles.

Absorbs Noise:

It absorbs noise because of the thick coating when a stone or some obstacle reaches the cabin so that it absorbs most of the noises.

Increase Vehicle Life:

Good undercoating not only defend but also increase the life of the Vehicle from corrosion

Provides insulation:

The coating plays the role of shielding from outer debris, water and moisture.

Improve the driving experience:

the coating can create a thick elastic covering over all of the body, which could act as a good dampening material it can reduce the vibration of the metal sheet and reduce the noise inside the car.

Measurement of underbody thickness and its composition:

Measuring device: Elcometer

Composition is analysed using NILTON XLT
