Underbody Coating
Under-body coating :-
Under-body coating is coating process which is used for prevent the rust, corrosion and also reduce wear and tear and this process applied only when the car is new. when a car get contact with water, chemicals and etc. and only perticular parts are getting coating.
And it also reduce noice problems , sometimes street roads or highways also have damaged so just because of this car got dumbed or contact with rocks and dust so that also it prevents. and under coating can be spray, paint and got minor layer of coating which is in microns. that how much of microns layer we need is depend on what type of or on which part we doing coating.
Purpose of coating :-
- Better and strong material for long time which reduce the maintenance and extra cost after any accident or little damage.
- It also reduce debris, and cover minors damaged and seal the cracks or holes.
- Increase car life and better perfomance.
Types of coating :-
- Rubberized underbody coating:- It prevent little damage and scratched. It normally spray or paint the car and it also prevent dust, dent and moistures etc.
- Polyurathane underbody coating:- This coating closed up splits and fractures on underbody of any vehicle and it also get bond with metals and it is used as paint.
- Wax based undercoating coating:- It affordable option in automobile industry and it is not apply on moveable parts and and after wax based undercoating metal get fast drying and having thin layers of it and used on ex. like PVC, rubber etc.

- Giving smooth driving and reduce noice pollution.
Cons of underbody coating :-
- Need to get more safety during coating process that should be not apply on moveable parts and other joint material.
- It cost is high and rquire more time for coating and drying.
