AIM: To model columns for industrial steel structure using TSD.

1. Create column properties for different types of pedestal members and model in the grids created as per the assignment 1

• open the new file and create the grids and levels as per the assignment 1
• then go to the management property sets . click on new and add the reqired properties.
• Create the column pedastal with the applied properties.from the base to ground levels.
• go to the model tab and select the column option model the pedestals at the desirred locations.

2.Create column properties for steel columns and model columns in the grid created as per assignment 1.

• similar procedure as above mentioned.go to management property sets
• create the property of stell column .
• create the column theough modeling.from ground level to top of roof beam level.

3.Create beam properties and model primary and secondary beams on the ground floor

• follow the sam eprocedure as above followed .
• go to managr property sets and create beam properties.
• then go to model and create the steel beams both primary and secondary. at the ground floor level.
