To Generate seismic loading based on IS code and to run the analysis using TSD

Above Screenshot contains result of "Seismic Mass Participation corresponding to specific Frequency of the model".
Here We have considered first 10 Modal Frequency and its corresponding Modal Mass Participation factor, calculated by the method called "Modal Mass Analysis".

1. Click on "Load" tab in the Task bar,
2. I have chosen "Guwahati" as my zone of consideration so Zone 5th whose screenshot attached herealog with.
Consider 5% damping coeficient whose calculation is not in my domain so copied from our mighty code IS 1893 :2016.

3. Consider Mass irregularity & Soft Storey mechanism due to absence of walls in the Ground floor.
4. Consider Moment Resisting Frame without infills, Fundamental Period Calculated above is software defined; which otherwise manually comes to be 0.261 sec in main direction.
Software results are quite conservative so i have adopted higher value of Fundamental period.
Ordinary Moment Resisting Frame along both the axis R " Response Reduction Factor" 3 as per IS 1893:2016.

5. Dead weight to be 100% & if live load >=3KN/m2, then 50% reduction on Imposed load is considered, is shown above.
6. After fulfilling the reqd. data, Click on "ANALYSE" tab in the TAsk bar.
7. Click On "Wind Tunnel Data" and Add the Load cases under "Modal Mass Combinartion" tab.

Select the Dead & live load components to define the "Effective Seismic weight" of the Structure.
8. Select the Various combinations on "Strength & Serviceability Criteria" under the Generate Tab in the above Screenshot.
9. After Selecting the reqd. Combination, Run The MODAL ANALYSIS tab under Analyses button in the taskbar.
