Reinforcement detailing of Columns from ETABS output

AIM: From ETABS file for a G+4 building is provided. Run the analysis and design the RCC Moment Resisting Frame. The following challenge deals specifically with two columns at the following grid intersections

Procedure:

1)Now Open privoius G+4 Etab file

2) Click the Concrete Frame Design tool top righty corner in toolbar

3) Select and click on the Display Design Info option

4)now Choose design output as Longitudinal Reinforcement

5) Selecting the Longitudinal Reinforcement open the Elevation View

6) Now we need to calculate the reinforcement details of 3a and 3b

7)To calculate Shear reinforcement, Click the Concrete frame design tool

8) and Choose Shear Reinforcing Click apply and ok

MAXIMUM ast for coloumn 3a is 7027

reinforcement to be provided is

10 bars of32mm dia

for coloumn 3b

maximum ast is 5046

reinforcement to be provided are

4bars of 32mm dia
