Radar Mast & Final Assembly of Yacht
1)

2)PART- MODELLING, ASSEMBLY AND PHOTOREALISTIC RENDERING OF THE YATCH

AIM: To model the sunseeker yatch using solid works software.
OBJECTIVE:
- Modelling of all parts of yatch and assemble it.
- Getting familiar with hybrid modelling(ie., solid / surface modelling) during modelling.
INTRODUCTION:
Hello all, iam shiju . In this project, we will discuss about the procedure for modelling and assembling of sunseeker yatch using solid works software, and its rendering.these sunseeker yatch is super luxury yatch majorly used for cruising and racing
Here , blueprints of sunseeker yatch are used to model the yatch . here, both surface and solid modelling are used.
ABOUT YATCH: A yatch is a medium sized boat which is used for sailing and racing purpose as early explained, but most of it is used for luxury.
BASIC PARTS OF YATCH:
- Hull
- Superstructure
- Radar
- Radarmast
- Propeller
- Front, middle and rear seats
- Garage door

EXPLODED VIEW OF SUNSEEKER YATCH:

BLUE PRINT SETUP :

For modelling of sunseeker yatch , i have taken the blueprints of sunseeker yatch as a reference . The blueprints here im used fir is only just fo reference purpose , the dimensions may vary.
Components of sunseeker yatch:
1) Hull:

Hull is the heavy part which holds remaining components of yatch completely. It consits of anchor, Side raling, deck area , Ster, and Bow.
It is modelled using both surface and solid modelling.
2)Superstructure:

Superstructure is the extension of hull, it has all feature like captain cabin, sunroof and it holds radar and radarmast.
For modelling of sunseeker , majorly we adapt surface modelling after that we knit by make suring that there is no gap and after that we convert it into solid and the we gave a comlete finishing look.
3)Front, Middle and Rear seats:

The above shown is a pictorial representation of a front seat. For modelling of front seat, we use solid modeling commands. This is placed just infront of superstructure and on deck surface of hull.

The above shown is a pictorial representation of a middle seat. For modelling of middle seat, we use solid modeling commands. This is placed on just back of superstructure and also above deck surface of hull.

The above shown is a pictorial representation of a rear seat. For modelling of rear seat, we use solid modeling commands. This is placed on just back of superstructure and also behind middle seat and also above deck surface of hull.
4)Propeller:

Propeller is used to transmit the tourque or b/p from engine to sea or water bodies in the form of displacement. Here for modelling propellor , we adapt solid modelling.
5)Garage:

6)Radar & Radar mast:

Radar is used as a navigation tool for yatch, ships, cruise to detect the canals land and weather etc when the visiblity is low.
Radar mast have radar assembled to it and it also have antenas and rotating like structure on top of radar mast.
We used solid modelling commands for modelling of radar and radar mast .

CONCLUSION:
- Here for the modelling of sunseeker yatch , mostly the surface modelling commands are used.
- By the time i improved my surfacing skills also solid modelling .
