SUNSEEKER PREDATOR YACHT

OBJECTIVE

Surface modelling is the main part in the life of an design engineer, so learning it is the main objective for creating this design.

INTRODUCTION

Solidworks is a design professional software in which an individual designs the parts, assemble it to form a product and then renders it, simulates it, etc. These designs are then used for production of these products. In this project surface modelling is the main method to understand which allows us to create the surfaces of the product when the product is hollow from inside.

DESIGN METHADOLOGY

DESCRIPTION

1. Propellor

It is used to drive the yacht, as when it rotates the yacht is forced to go in forward direction. In this simply cut Extrude, Loft, Extrude, Revolve tools are used. CUT EXTRUDE is used to give the cut on a particular surface from a distance.

Loft is used to create the surface. Extrude is to increase the hieght of a skecth in the form of solid. Revolve is used to give the cylindrical shape along a axis of the sketch.

2. RADAR

Radar in the yacth is used to detect the obstacles in the way of the yacht.

In his simple tools such as extrude, Cut Extrude, Bose Extrude, Split line are used.

3. HULL

IT is the main body of the yacht on which all the components and parts ar going to be assembled.

In this many tools are used such as Surface Loft, Surface Knit, Sweep, Helix are used .

4. Garage Door

It is the door for the garage whee the car is going to be parked.

In this previously used normal tools are used.

5. FRONT SEAT

It is for the guests to sit in front of the yacht to enjoy the view. In this tools such surface sweep, surface trim, surfce loft, fillet, dome, surface knit, chamfer are mainly used.

6. Middle Seat

It is the place behind the supestructure between front and rear seat where the guest can enjoy tea and games. In This Boss Extrude is mainly used.

7. REAR SEAT

It is the seat for guests to sit in the rear of the yacht. In this tools like surface trim, surface extrude are basically used.

8. SUPERSTRUCTURE

It is the main body for all the functions to happen to control the yacht . in this the guests can have rest and the cabin also there to drive the yacht. It is mainly of surface modelling. all the tools are of suraface modelling.
