1. Major Elements
a) Batttery
b) Starter
c) Ammeter
d) Fuse
e) Generator
f) Foot selection switch
g) Breaker
h) Fuel Guage
i) Current and Voltage regulator
j) Ignition coil
K) Distributor
2)
A) Battery :-
A battery is a device that stores chemical energy and converts it to electrical energy. The chemical reactions in a battery involve the flow of electrons from one material (electrode) to another, through an external circuit. The flow of electrons provides an electric current that can be used to do work.
B) Generator:-
A generator is a machine that turns mechanical energy into electrical energy. It provides electricity to devices and appliances when you are not connected to the power grid. Three types of generators are Portable , Invertor and standby.
C) Fuse :-
An electrical fuse is a safety device that operates to provide protection against the overflow of current in an electrical circuit.An important component of an electrical fuse is a metal wire or strip that melts when excess current flows through it.It helps to protect the device by stopping or interrupting the current.
3) We have Current I=10 amps , Voltage = 12V
Power = V * I = 10*12 = 120 KW
Fuse rating = ( Power * Fuse factor) / V ------> Take Fuse factor 1.25
Fuse rating = (120 * 1.25)/12 = 12.5 amps
Hence 13 amps Fuse is ok for 10amps current.
4) We have I=10amps , Power= 500W
Voltage V= P / I = 500/10 = 50 V
Capacity C = I * T ( T is Time assume 1 hr)
Then C = 10*1 = 10 Ahr
Hence Voltage V=50V , Capacity C=10Ahr
5) Horn and Scaled beam light is connected in Parallel
Horn : - If one horn goes other can work , otherwise by combining the sounds of both horns we can make it work as one.
Scaled Beam : - Scale beam is connected in parallel in order to provide the vision as one , either one is failed other will work to give the beam.
6) Ammeter and Fuel guage connected in series
Ammeter :- It is used to measure the flow of the current, it has little resistance if it is connected in parallel it can be easily damaged.
Fuel Guage : - It is used to measure the amount of fuel in the generator, it can be easily damaged when connected in parallel which results in not knowing the working time of generator.
