AIM: TO Prepare a technical report explaining the model properties a system-level simulation of an all-terrain vehicle
Observation:Carry out a system-level simulation of an all-terrain vehicle.Prepare a technical report explaining the model properties & comments on the results.
An all-terrain vehicle (ATV), also known as a light utility vehicle (LUV),a quad bike, or simply a quad vehicle that travels on low-pressure tires, with a seat that is straddled by the operator, along with handlebars for steering control
Above fig shows :An all-terrain vehicle (ATV)
MODEL OF BAJA ATV with CVT:-
MODEL OF CVT-CONTINUOUSlY VARIABLE TERRAIN:-
A CVT uses a pulley and belt system to change the vehicle's drive-wheel speed and torque in relation to engine speed and torque so as to provide an unlimited range of gear ratios. It is different from the automatic transmission which has a set number of gear ratios. in low gear provide better accerlation in higher gears are maximum fuel economy. in CVT they dont have gears it is switch type case low and high. in this variable diameter cone shaped pulleys connecting a steel belt with pulleys at the end of the cones in one side is fix another is movable increase and decrease space between the sides of pulleys.in this belt allows higher or lower along wlls of the pulleys
CVT BLOCK:-
Fig of Above shown inner block of CVT
VTR COMPONENT:-VTR means variable transmission ratio is variable ratio on gear box in mechanical belt hydraulic transmission The physical signal input r (ratio) input and output of angular velocity
here B is base ,F for follower mechanical rotation of conserving ports. relation between base (B)and follower (F) rotation direction with the output rotating output parameter
BLOCK OF (VRT) VARIABLE TRANSMISSION RATIO:
Genetic engine: The throttle input signal T lies between 0,1, The torque demnd from the engine fraction from maximum torque
connections F and B machanical rotational ports with the engine crackshaft engine block respectively P and FC are physical output ports the engine power and fuel consumption rate are reported
GENETIC ENGINE BLOCK:
INPUT SIGNAL:- signal builder inputs shows brake and throttle
Above fig shows Break and throttle inputs in signal builder block
CVT GEAR RATIO:-
Above fig: CVT GEAR RATIO
TORQUE -SPeed Engine Curve:-
Vehicle Body Inner part:-
OUTPUT CASE:
Vehicle SPEED:-
Graph represents maximum speed of vehicle V=55km/hr and throttle=1 after 30sec it is constant after that brake input value is '0' it has no effect on velocity
shown in below fig 1. vehicle of speed
2. below out put shown in figare Shaft RPM :-
here above graphs represented variation in angulaar velocity input and output shafts of variable of gear Transmission system. Te values is differ from with respective to the gear ratio
FIG:shows Bajaj AVT and CVT of using Dashboard
in this above figuare control inputs with knobs in this inputs are throttle and break .Throttle and break are not providing by signal builder. The knob will control parameters of real time for the users
output Vehicle speed:-
here below graphs shows representing velocity of vehicle increases from 0 to 50 kmph and throttle is 0.5 and brake input is 0.The breaking value is increases 0.1-0.5 vehicle is decreases to 0 the relation of vehicle velocity with respect to
throttle ,brake points
CVT shaft rpm:-
CONCLUSION:- Finally we get Successfully outputs of BAJA AVT with CVT by graphs shown as Vehicle velocity And CVT Shaft RPM with respect to Throttle And brake

Week-11 Challenge: Braking
Tasks For a defined driving cycle, calculate the energy required for braking. Why electric motor can’t develop braking torque at a high speed similar to starting? How electric and mechanical brakes are coordinated? Make a MATLAB program that plots the contour of given motor speed, torque and efficiency values.…
