Project 1 : CFD Meshing for Tesla Cyber Truck

AIM of the project - Geometrical clean up of the Tesla car and then we have to do the geometrical clean up of the model.

Then we have to import the geometry that is being provided so it looks like this-

#) Next we have to remove the half portion of the truck to work on the inside part of it-

we use the project cut tool to select the half section and delete it

#) Next the following geometrical clean up procedure is followed-

The extra surfaces which are not needed can be deteted-

the circular part has extra surface on cylinder -

#) The process of new surface creation is done by the following ways where new surfaces are needed to be created by deleting the old surfaces-

#) The Topo tool is used to convert the single cons to double cons in the tier rims-

In the tier grooves the topo option is used -

The bottom surface is completed by creating a new surface-

#) Then we go for the meshing of the three PIDs we need to give the three different dimensins of the three pids-

For whole body we need to give mesh length = 5 mm and the tiers and the wind shields are givene element length to be equal to 4 mm -

#) Now we have to use the symmetry and copy option to create the other half part of the car and join it to create the whole car-

The three points are needed to be copied by clicking on to the points-

#) Next the wind tunnel is created by the following procedure by giving points-

The points tool is used and it will and we use points option to create the three points at a certain distance from each other-

Now the faces new face option is used to create the planes-

#) Now the offset option is used to move the plane to the top from the bottom-

The three more pids are created that would help in the meshing process-

Now we give the mesh lengths for the surfaces-

The different surfaces are that to be meshed are shown as -
