Project 1 : CFD Meshing for Tesla Cyber Truck
Aim
To check ,solve all geometrical errors, assign appropriate PID,s,perform meshing with the suitable target length and element quality criteria for the given model.
Procedure
1.The model was opened as it is on ANSA
2. After we hit a topo on the geometry we got fewer red cons.
3.Then it was checked for errors.

4.For there errors to be rectified the entire model was halved and one side with less errors was selected.

5.PID's were assigned.

6.The windows and tyres were meshed with a target length of 2mm.
7.The quality criteria was given.

8.The meshed model.

9.The entire model was mirrored and the other half was bought back.

10.The model was meshed with the same parameters.

Wind tunnel Calculations & model
Total length of the car,x = 6000mm approx.
Total width of the car = 2600mm approx.
Total height of the car = 1500mm approx.
Distance from reference point to the front face of the model = 2500mm approx.
The bottom wall was created 600mm from the bottom face of the car.
The height of top wall from the face was = 19500mm approx.
The length of side walls from side face of the car = 7300mm approx.
The length of the front wall from front face of the car = 26500mm approx
The length of the rear wall from rear face of the car = 38500mm approx
1.Creating a wind tunnel and assigning the PID's

2.Meshing of the wind tunnel
Bottom face target length = 20mm
Top face target length = 100mm

Side wall meshing was done with a growth factor of 1.2 from target length of 20 to 100mm

3.The final image
Result
The given geometry was checked and corrected of any errors .It was then meshed for the model only.At the end a wind tunnel was created using the calculations given above and was meshed on the surface.
