Project 1

* Create new product file in catia V5 then rename this as assy_engine_harness_context and save it . Then in context assembly add engine assy file and then create new product file into a context assy as assy_engine_harness_geometrical_bundle and save the file, then bundle product file open in new window.

* As per question download the connector from TE.com and define them electrically and preparing catalog for connector, and add all the connector one by one in geometrical_bundle file. 

 

* Then goto the context ass file and set the connector its given position on the engine assembly one by one by the copy and paste using through and fullfill all the connector space on the engine assembly as per desire location.

 

* Then arrange the P-clamp and furrty clip as per routing path imagination and also sheet metal bracket arrage with cavity clip and connector and also guiding channel locating at both side engine head for protection covering of harness.

* Then goto the electrical harness assy workbench and route the harness one by one as per desire specification size,bending redius etc

as per show in image for some connector create branching point for easy to routing and harness clerance purpose. Then check connectivity of harness by using "TRUE" and "FALSE" command in search.

* Then create new product file for harness flattening rename as a assy_engine_harness_flattenig_project_1 and add flattening command and save it, then add into it Bundle harness file for flattenig purpose by using the EXTRACT command and then select FLATTEN command then window will pop up select reference face of the connector for flat the harness respect them and select one branch and click on select all branch option then click ok and save it.

* Then create new drawing file rename it as harness_drawing_project_1 and save it, then click on "front view command" and make window vertically and select face of connector from flattening file which is last time selected for flatten to the harness then drawing added into drawing file, then click drawing sheet blank area and save the file.
