b. similarly as the above do it for doors.
c. similarly as the above do it for windows.as there are no windows this is the schedule.
d. go to schedule option from view tab and selct the material takeoff option.then select the material and then select all the fields for whatever category required and then click ok.

AIM:Using Revit Calculate area and volume of each room in the model with appropriate room tags applied to each room. Prepare a schedule report for area and volume of each room
PROCEDURE:
Go to view tab and select the schedule option then select the category room then select all the fields required. and press ok . all gthe required fields are computed using revit.
RESULT:

4.
AIM:Using the same schedule using the unit cost rate for materials available in the internet, prepare total cost of materials used in the project
a. Total Cost of Materials
b. Individual Material Take off
PROCEDURE:
a. Go to the floor plan and select the material takeoff of which the cost need to be calculated such as walls , doors, windows etc. and then from properties browser edit type add the cost of material by referring to the inetrnet.such as for wall i give 20 and for inner wall i give 10 and for curtain wall 30.open the schedules of the material takeoff created then go to insert option and add cost and a dummy lime for total cost and then select the dummy line and then calculated option then name the coulmn as total cost and give formula as (material colume/ 1 CF)*cost . hence the total cost is created.
similarly create the material takeoff of windows and doors and calcuate the total cost using above process.

b. To create the individulal material takeoff go to schedule option and theselect the material takeoff option then select all the type to be entered and select ok. hence the material takeoff is crteated.
as there are no wimdows in the building no cost can be calculated neither material takeoff can be scheduled.
RESULT:

AIM: Using the concept of Visual Programming discussed in class, list a flowchart for the following scenario
a. How to decide framings for a structure using Dynamo ?
b. If there is no water coming from the pipes
c. If request for money from client has been declined for the project
PROCEDURE:
a. Flow chart for a structure framing using dynamo is listed as:
1. Preparation of formwork.
2. Assembling the formwork.
3. Placement of reinforcement.
4. Concrete placing.
5. Compacting.
6. Curing.
7. Completed.

b. Flow chart if there is no water coming from the pipes
1. Check the pipe connection.
2. Check for water supply.
3. Check if there are any leaks.
4. Fix the problem.

c. Flow chart if request for money from client has been declined for the project.
1. Explain the project to the client.
2. Provide time cfor the client to decide.
(a) If he accepts to pay continue with the project.
(b) If he declines decline the project

6.

PROCEDURE: Open the floor .
a. SElect the wall and from property browser select edit type all the left hand sides are parameters.

b.SElect the Floor and from property browser select edit type all the left hand sides are parameters.
