Fender Design - Wheel Arch Challenge

OBJECTIVE:- To check the given fender wheel arch design as per european standards.

The value of clearance L

The clearance L as shown in figure at all the five sections should be greater than the 10mm.

1. The value of l on sb section is 10mm

2. The value of L on SA section is 9.9489mm

3. The value of L on SC section is 0.000mm

4. The value of L on SD section is 0.000mm

4. the value of L on SE section is -3.2049mm

Conclusion: From the above results obtained,that the given fender doesn't pass the European Standards for Wheel Arch area.

The styling team is required to modify the surface on the fender where the value is less than 0mm or in negative values.
