Object :- According the European Standard calculate the wheel arc area and prove whether the car will pass the standard or not.

European Standard :-

According to the European Standard the clearance value (L) between fender outer edge and wheel outer surface should be greater than 10mm. It use to measure about 5 points of fender-

1. Vertical axis from wheel centre,
2. Left side 30 degree from wheel centre vertical axis,
3. Right side 50 degree from wheel centre vertical axis,
4. 150mm height between wheel centre horizontal axis to fender edge (rear side),
5. Mid-point between (3) and (4) on fender.

Calculation :-

SA-SA	+9.94mm	Not European Standard
SB-SB	+10mm	European Standard
SC-SC	-0.11mm	Not European Standard
SD-SD	-2.87mm	Not European Standard
SE-SE	-5.97mm	Not European Standard

According to the figure we saw the only one point where the clearance value is 10mm and other three point is not 10mm or more, while the clearance value should be greater than 10mm. So it is not qualify the European Standard.

And according to the below figure it is not qualify the Japan and US Standard regulation.

Conclusion :-

According to above it is not qualify any standard. So its fender design changing requirement is necessary.
