Fender Design - Wheel Arch Challenge
Report:
- The given FenderWheel Arc file is opened, it looks like the image below.

- First, an axis is formed for the wheel.
- A plane is formed on the axis and coinciding with the front most surface of the wheel.
- A point is taken on the plane matching with the axis.
- Lines are drawn at 4 different angles from the point.
- They intersect with the wheel edge at respective points.
- These lines are further more extrapolated to cross the fender edge.

- Now, a close look is taken to observe where the line is passing the fender.
- The below images show 3 different lines passing well under the fender. This means these points of wheel are under the fender and fender has no issues at these points. There are shown in Green to show they are proper.

- As the above 3 points are errorless, the below image shows the line clearly passes above the fender.
- This means that part of the wheel can be seen clearly outside fender edge. This is an error because the particles on the wheel surface easily get escpaed to the side of the car. This shows the fault in the given fender design. This is shown in Red to signify the error.

- In this way, the given fender design is proven wrong as it does not qualify the required purpose of stopping the particles fly out.
