Fender Design Challenge

Ovjective

In this project we will be creating mount areas for a given front fender such as Drip area,sill area, Baffel area and pillar/Body area.

as we mentioned we will be creating the fenders so lets checkabout it's types

as for the positions there are two types of fenders

• Front fender
• Rear fender

As for the bumper area contact of the fenders

• Full bumper type
• Half Bumpertype

For the spesific project we have been provided with the master section for the drip area mounts as shown in the following image

Drip Area Mount

As you can see in the above images we have created some emboss and mounting holes for the fasteners we have created flat surface and have given the minimum 5mm flat area around the mounting holes. And we have also provided beads to it to increase the strength of the mount.

Sill Area Mount

Like drip mount we have created the sill mount too and we made sure that we didn't have any sharp corners and we provided relief to it.

Bumper Area Mount

Baffel Area Mont

For baffle mounting we didn't made any kind of emboss we have created the mounting holes for it and we have created the baffle flange on which the holes are there.

Pillar Area Mount

After creating the mounts we finally thicken it which gives thickness to the sheet metal.
