  • Create the drip area& their mountings with given data and with some adjustments.
  • Create the embosses and hole with required dimensions.
  • Then create the sill region with same embosses and holes with required dimensions.
  • Now create the A pillar region with some embosses and holes.

given data for designing of fender:-

FEATURE TREE OF FENDER:-

NOTE:- trimming sheet in feature tree is used for removing sharp edges of the fender.

Drip area:-

In drip area we created the surface with given dimensions and data. We created the embosses and holes as per requirement. Here we created the one hole and other slot, why because of adjustment of the bolts in drip area if there is any tolerance or gap between the two holes. And we also given the darts to materials to strengthen the material. We also created the required face blends and edge bends where ever required. This drip area is located in engine room which is used to hold the fender with engine room by using bolts and nuts.

Sill region:-

Sill region is the bottom mounting of the fender which is used to attach the fender with chassis or plastic part which is attached to the doors. Here also provided the embosses and holes. Holes also have on circular and another one is slot. They are provided for better fitting and adjustments.

Bumper region:-

Bumper region which is placed near the head lights for holding the plastic part or bumper of the vehicle. This region also needs of darts for better stiffness and strength for material. Here we created the two slots because of better adjustments of fitting.

A pillar region:-

A pillar region which is placed at the back of the fender which is used to join the fender with the main frame. Here also we provided the one slot and one circle for better fitting.

Cowl mounting:-

Cowl mounting which is used to hold baffle or splash. This will used to protect the vehicle from dust and stones damages. This baffle or splash will be fixed with using rubber pins. Here we created the holes because we used the pins to join.
