Fender Design Challenge

OBJECTIVE

• To design a fender with the given master section.

INTRODUCTION

• Fender :- Fender is the part of an automobile that frames a wheel well. Its primary purpose is to prevent sand, mud, rocks, liquids, and other road spray from being thrown into the air by the rotating tire.
• Types of fenders :- They are of two types: full fender and half fender. Full fender type is seen more commonly in older vehicles, and material wastage was high in this type. Half fender types are used currently to avoid wastage of materials, and also allows easy maintenance and replacement.
