Fender
It is the front side member of the car which cover the wheel side of the car.The fender is the car body part that frames the wheel.The puropose of using fender is to avoid chiping.Fender will be helpful to prevent sand and other mub particles which is going to chip inside the engine.
Two types of fender
1.Full bumper type
The full bumper type is a type of fender.In old cars they where using full bumper type.Now a days they are not using full bumper type because the blank is quiet big and material waste is more.And also the car weight is more by using full bumper type.
2.Half bumper type
By using half bumper type we can produce two fender by using same blank which used for full bumper type.And we can reduce the scrap.We can also reduce the steel weight and increase the performance of the vechile.

The area which is fixed near the engine by using fastners.
