Creating Conceptual mass in REVIT and Creation of Sinusoidal curve and a Parametric stadium using Dynamo
1) Using Dynamo create a set of sinusoidal points and create a curve and create a surface out of the curve.
ANS 1 - AIM -to create a set of sinusoidal points and create a curve and create a surface out of the curve.
PROCEDURE - 1. open new project in revit.
2. from manage tab open dynamo. open new file.
3. create three integer sliders.

4.connect point to range.
5. range to coordinate and sine angle.

6. attach sine to X and code block to Y of product.
7. connect product to the z of point.

8.connect point to a curve by point.
9. create another point b curve , add same as previous X and Z in case of y add code block to 100.

10. connect both curve by points to surface by loft.

RESULT - i have created a set of sinusoidal points and create a curve and create a surface out of the curve.
2) Create a conceptual layout of floor plan in dynamo . Using the tools available in dynamo link the lines to appropriate model elements in Revit by choosing the wall types and wall parameters. Make use of the sliders to slide through the height of the wall and length of the wall.
ANS 2 - AIM -to Create a conceptual layout of floor plan.
PROCEDURE - 1. in revit model, create 4 point and add two sliders to values points.

2. create 4 line by end connecting all 4 corners.

3. create list of lines, and slider for height and level and wall type.
4. connect all parameters to their values.

RESULT - i have Created a conceptual layout of floor plan
3) Create an array of model elements in Revit. Use dynamo to vary the properties of model elements by using the slider or code block
ANS 3 - AIM -to change property of element through dynamo.
PROCEDURE - 1. create element in revit.
2. creat array of element.

3. open dynamo select the element in dynamo.

4. search for properties like rotation, move,
5. link a slider to angle of rotation.
RESULT - i have rotated a element using dynamo.
4) Create a conceptual mass in Revit and develop a parametric column by dividing the surfaces and apply the concepts similar to used in parametric walkway modelling. Use triangular bent or square shaped panels to add finish to the parametric column
ANS 4 - AIM -to Create a conceptual mass in Revit and develop a parametric column by dividing the surfaces and apply the concepts similar to used in parametric walkway modelling.
PROCEDURE - 1. open a new family template conceptual mass.
2. create level. and create shape of conceptual mass.

3.create squares on different faces
4. give solid form of the shape.

5. give small triangular shape in divided shape.
6. save as a new family.

RESULT - i have Created a conceptual mass in Revit and develop a parametric column by dividing the surfaces and apply the concepts similar to used in parametric walkway modelling.
5) Use Dynamo to work on developing a Parametric Stadium. List your parameters and use the visual programming approach to complete the modelling, You can use the concepts discussed in parametric high rise tower in class for reference.
ANS 5 - AIM -to develop parametric stadium.
PROCEDURE - 1. open new dynamo workspace.
2. create 4 sliders, coordinate by origin at different levels of spacing floor height along z axis.

3. create rectangle from centre as origins be 2 number sliders of width and length.

4. add rotation to geometry by varing angles.

5. add poly surface to ractangles.

7. change sliders to change settings of building.

RESULT - i have developed a parametric stadium.
