Creating Conceptual mass in REVIT and Creation of Sinusoidal curve and a Parametric stadium using Dynamo
Q.1 USING DYNAMO CREATE A SET OF SINUSOIDAL POINT AND CREATE A CURVE AND CREATE A SURFACE OUT OF THE CURVE
ANS:
- First open a architectural template in Revit.
- Open a dynamo from manage tab and click on new
- Put integer slider for start end points using search bar
- Then put code block and put vale in it
- Then put math.sin for the angle in the model
- Then pointby.cordinate for the x,y,z coordinates
- Used product for the multiplication of the coordinates
- And attached every one with correct manner to get the product product
- Put bycontrol point and list create and connect with the by.cordinate
- At end you get the product.

Q.2 CREATE A CONCEPTUAL LAYOUT OF FLOOR PLAN IN DYNAMO USING THE TOOL AVAILABLE IN DYNAMO LINK THE LINES TO APPROPRIATE MODEL ELEMENT IN REVIT BY CHOOSING THE WALL TYPE AND WALL PARAMETERS. MAKE USE OF THE SLIDERS TO SLIDE THROUGH THE HEIGHT OF THE WALL AND LENGTH OF THE WALL
ANS:
- First open a architectural template in Revit.
- Open a dynamo from manage tab and click on new
- Then add four by coordinate to the model then connect integerslider to the coordinate
- Then add the line start point to end point and connect it with the by coordinate to form a line
- Then add the list create and join the list create and all the start point and end point
- Then add the wall type and level and select the appropriate wall type and level in it
- Then add integer slider and add the value 10 in it and then add the wall by curve and height in it and connect the all to it
- To make a floor add floor type and floor byoutlinecurve and levels to it
- And connect them properly and your wall and floor is ready

Q.3 CREATE AN ARRAY OF MODEL ELEMENT IN REVIT. USE DYNAMO TO VARY THE PROPERTIES OF MODEL ELEMENT BY USING THE SLIDER OR CODE BLOCK
ANS:
- Open Revit and select the architectural template
- Then create a architectural column then open dynamo and search select model elements ad select it
- Then for rotating the column select et by rotation option in dynamo
- Then add a integer slider and put the value 45 in it and connect all with each other in correct manner

Q.4 CREATE A CONCEPTUAL MASS IN REVIT AND DEVELOP A PARAMETRIC COLUMN BY DIVIDING THE SURFACE AND APPLY THE CONCEPTS SIMILAR TO USED IN PARAMETRIC WALKWAY MODELLING USE TRIANGULAR BENT OR SQUARE SHAPE PANELS TO ADD FINISH TO THE PARAMETRIC COLMN
ANS:
- First, we need to create a conceptual mass to that open the Revit and select conceptual mass in the new option
- Then create the level at 12’ from existing level
- Then select the model line option and select the line
- Then draw the s-shape line on the plan
- Then go to 3d view and placed the plan at every point
- Then select the circumscribe polygon option and place at every plan of the plan at 12’
- Then create a form around the axis using create form
- then select the form only and using divide surface option add triangular bent option
- your conceptual mass is ready

Q.5 USE DYNAMO TO WORK ON DEVELOPING A PARAMETRIC STADIUM LIST YOUR PARAMETERS AND USE THE VISUAL PROGRAMMING APPROCH TO COMPLETE THE MODELLING YOU CAN USE THE CONCEPT DISCUSSED IN PARAMETRIC HIGH RISE TOWER IN CLASS FOR REFERENCE
ANS:
- open a new project in the revit
- then open dynamo and add two integer slider and name it level and floor to floor height of the building
- then add code block and write a code in it 0..#levels..floorheight;
- then add the byorign to get coordinate of building
- then add four integer slider for the length, width, bottom floor, top floor.
- Then add bywidth, length for the building
- Then add geometry rotation, point origin, vectorz
