Creating Conceptual mass in REVIT and Creation of Sinusoidal curve and a Parametric stadium using Dynamo
1. Ans
aim: Using Dynamo create a set of sinusoidal points and create a curve and create a surface out of the curve.
procedure:
open the Revit and go to manage tab and click the dynamo
open the dynamo in new file
search bar searches the integer slider, point.by coordinates, code block, math. Sin, product, list, range, list, Nube curves control by points, surface by loft.
- set the integer slider values as start, end and step
- range connect the integers to range
- point.by coordinates is copied and place twice and range to point.by coordinates
- range to connect the point.by coordinates and math. Sin
- math. Sin to point coordinates y connect and code block to point by coordinates z connected
- code block and math. Sin is connecting the product x and y
- Nube curves control points are point by coordinate connecting the Nube curves control points to list item connected
- surface by loft, list to create section is connected

2.ans
aim: Create a conceptual layout of floor plan in dynamo. Using the tools available in dynamo link the lines to appropriate model elements in Revit by choosing the wall types and wall parameters. Make use of the sliders to slide through the height of the wall and length of the wall.
procedure:
- open the architecture template go to manage tab and click the dynamo open new file
- first select the parameter is integer slider and set the values are 10000
- next paramter is point by coordinates set the points
- next select the Parmeter is line by start and end point to connect the all points
- parameter list set the items are four and connect it
- select the parameter us wall by curve height and set the height, wall type and level
- floor type and floor by outline type and level connect the floor type ,list to curve floor is created

3.ANS
aim: Create an array of model elements in Revit. Use dynamo to vary the properties of model elements by using the slider or code block
PROCEDURE:
open the architectural template and place the components as architectural column placed four columns
go to manage tab and click the dynamo and open new file
set the parameters are integer and model elements and rotation

change properties of element using the dynamo

4. an
aim: Create a conceptual mass in Revit and develop a parametric column by dividing the surfaces and apply the concepts similar to use in parametric walkway modelling. Use triangular bent or square shaped panels to add finish to the parametric column
PROCEDURE:
open the family is conceptual mass and metric file open
set the level as 12'
set the level and create the model line as spline, set the plane and draw the circumscribed polygon drawn ad height of 12'
select the all polygon and create the solid form
select the all divide the surface
next select the pattern as triangle bent apply
result :

5.ANS
AIM: Use Dynamo to work on developing a Parametric Stadium. List your parameters and use the visual programming approach to complete the modelling, you can use the concepts discussed in parametric high-rise tower in class for reference.
PROCEDURE:
- open the architectural template and go to manage tab set the dynamo new file
- insert the parameters as integer slider as levels, height, top and bottom rotation, width, length
- set the code blocks as levels and floor height
- code for bottom and top levels
- connected the all
- select the parameter as coordinates system by origin and point by coordinates
- select the rectangle and connect the width length and coordinates
- select the geometry rotation and point origin vector axis is -z connected all
- surface by loft cross section is connected the geometry
