Creating Conceptual mass in REVIT and Creation of Sinusoidal curve and a Parametric stadium using Dynamo

1.
AIM:Using Dynamo create a set of sinusoidal points and create a curve and create a surface out of the curve.
PROCEDURE:Create three integer slider. for start end and step then add a range and connect integer sliders to it then create point by coordinate and a code block and one more point by coordinate for another sinusodial point and to make the curve we also need to add math.sin.
Now connect the range to point by coordinates x the sinusodial line would be formed. then provide the codeblock as 60 then connect the range to math.sin and othe point by cooordinate tab x.Then we need to add a product. and connect the code block to z in point by cordinates now connect the math.sin to y of point coordinate and to x of product and then connect the code block to y of product and at last connect the product to z of the first point by cordinate and the curve is created. then add a list and two nurbs curve by control point tab to create line on the points. and join the point by coordinate tab to them and the nurbs point to the list.now to create a surface add surface by loft tab and join the list to it

AIM:Create a conceptual layout of floor plan in dynamo . Using the tools available in dynamo link the lines to appropriate model elements in Revit by choosing the wall types and wall parameters. Make use of the sliders to slide through the height of the wall and length of the wall
PROCEDURE: Open a new dynamo cteate rwo new integer sliders and then add 4 point by coordinate tab and then add 4line by start end poin for the 4 sodes of wall. Now connect the 1st integer slider to x of first point by coordinate tab and to the y of second point by coordinate tab. similarly connect the 2nd integer slider to x of second point by coordinate tab and to the y of third point by coordinate tab. Now connect the start point of line by start end tab by first point by coordinate tab and then end point by second point by coordinate point.Similarly connect the start point of second line by start end tab by second point by coordinate tab and then end point by third point by coordinate. similarly connect the start point of the third line by start end tab by third point by coordinate tab and then end point by fourth point by coordinate. similarly connect the start point of fourth line by start end tab by fourth point by coordinate tab and then end point by first point by coordinatenow to connect thesewalls create a list of four items and connect all the lines to it. then set the levels by adding level tab and the wall types and add a integr slide for height of the wall . now add wall by curve and height option and connect the list to curve and height to integer slider and level to level and wll typ to wall type. then for the floor add floor by outline tab and floor type tab and slect a floor type then join list to outline and floor type to floor type and leve to level.

AIM:Create an array of model elements in Revit. Use dynamo to vary the properties of model elements by using the slider or code block
PROCEDURE: open a architectural tab draw 4 columns now open the dynamo and add tab add model elements, a integer slider and rotate by family and degree and then connect the integer slider to the degree option and the element to family option now try changing the integer slider and check for changes in revit software.

AIM:Create a conceptual mass in Revit and develop a parametric column by dividing the surfaces and apply the concepts similar to used in parametric walkway modelling. Use triangular bent or square shaped panels to add finish to the parametric column
PROCEDURE: Open a template then from new option go and open conceptual mass and from conceptual select metric mass then go to one of the elevation views and create a level at 12' offset then go to the floor plan and select model lines and select the spline option and create a spline.then go to 3D view to set plane and then go to set option and on all the points setplane.now choose the circumbscirbed polygon and place it on the plane at 12' distance then select the curve and the first plane and then select the create form option and then solid form and click okthe form is created. Then seect all and the filter and select only form and then divide surface and from properties select the triangle bent option. Hence the curve is created.

5.
AIM:Use Dynamo to work on developing a Parametric Stadium. List your parameters and use the visual programming approach to complete the modelling, You can use the concepts discussed in parametric high rise tower in class for reference.
PROCEDURE: Open dynamo and create two integer sider and a code block and manually add two values levels and floor height and connect the integer sliders to it.then insert the point coordinates.then join the code block to point coordinate origin and join the code block to z of point block. Then enter 4 integer slides for width, length, top floor rotation and bottom floor rotation. then create rectangle by width length coordinate system and then join the width , length and point coordinate to it. now create another code block for top floor rotattion and bottom floor rotation and levels.then connect the bottom to bottom , top to top and no. of levels to levels.then add point origin, vector.zaxis and geometry rotate and then join the rectangle to geometry of geometry rotate the point origin to origin and vector.z axis to axis and code block top ,bottom and levels to degrees.now we need to create the surface so we add polysurface by loft tab and then connect the geometry rotate tab to it . Hence the parametric building is created at height 10 ,no. of levels 5 , bottom rotattion 0 and top rotation 150.
