Challenge

Challenge 6 : Concept Modeling of Side Fender

1.TITTLE OF THE PROJECT:

Concept modelling of Side Fender.

2.OBJECTIVE:

To achieve the better shape of side fender by concept modelling

3.INTRODUCTION:

Creating the good quality of shapes and achieving continuity by concept modelling.

4.DESIGN METHODOLGY:

5.DESCRIPTION:

1.Draw the cv curve make it visualize from 3 quarter views and increase the no of degree to achieve the better shape.

2.Copy the same curve and move it upwards according to shape of Fender.

3.Make it as 4 sides and use square or rail command.

4.Check the continuity. If continuity is not achieved use Align command.

5.Draw 2 cv curves and increase no of degree to achieve better shape.

6.Use rail command to create patch and draw the required curves and create patches to complete half of the volume.

7.After that use the MS Draft command to create the shape of the fender by giving its required angle and length.

8.Draw the curve and increase its CV"s and align it to the MS draft patch.

9.Use rail command to create the surfaces.

10.And check the continuity.

11.Draw cv curve and blend curve on the top of the fender make it visualize from 3 views.

12.Create the patches by using square and rail command.

13.Draw the cv curve from top to bottom of fender make it into 2 parts and visualize it.

14.Create the surface & pick the surface use Intersect command and trim the unwanted surfaces.

15.Repate the process throughout the fender.

16.Draw the curves on surface project it and use trim command to remove unwanted.

17.Use surface fillet throughout the fender.

7.CONCLUSION:

Therefore, I completed concept modelling of side fender by above procedures.

And I have done optional concept modelling of Hood.
