• Mr. D.S. Pughazhyendhii is a married man who lives in Bangalore which is a highly crowded city. His Family comprises five members including his wife, five-year-old boy, his father, and his mother. He visits his native place Madurai which is 500kms away from Bangalore once in a month. Also, he will be using his car to commute to his office. His budget falls between 8 to 10 lakhs on road. Benchmarking is a process to measuring the performance of a company products, services or processes with the other company or business to be the best in the industry.

Steps of benchmarking process

1. In this process first we choose the products, processes or services to be benchmark.
2. Determine what other companies or competitors do which is best in class to benchmark against it.
3. Collects information on their internal performance.
4. Compare the data from the both organizations to identifies the gaps in your company’s performance.
5. Adopt the processes or polices within the best-in-class performers.
