Benchmark

Benchmarking is an automobile industry based on a structured comparison between similar products, services, or processes on some dimension of performance.

Benchmarking operates at several levels

Between similar processes in the same factory or service branch.
Between different factories or services branches
Between different competing organizations.
Between different sectors using the same process.

Here we will do a benchmark test between 4 cars,

As Mr. D.S. Pughazhyendhii needs a car.

So his criteria are

1. Seating Capacity-5
2. Daily use with a long tour in a month
3. Daily drive in Crowded City
4. Big Car
5. 8-10 lakh budget

Reason of choosing

As the customer staying in Bangalore, which is a very busiest and crowded city that why I took the automatic transmission as common. So that the customer can drive hassles in the city and also can be used for daily purpose.
All these cars are sub 4meter SUVs, as the customer loves big cars.
All above cars seeing capacity is 5.
All car's price range starts from 10 lakh.

Crash test reports

Maruti Viatara Brezza

Vitara Brezza scores a 4-star rating in the global NCAP, and it is safe for all Indian roads.

Hyundai Venue

Nissan Magnite

Renault Kiger

We don't have the official crash test report of Kiger. But globally it also scores a 4-star rating. But after launch, there was a first accident reported, from where it shows that Kiger is not strong as others.

The built quality of the car is not good.

Conclusion

If we will compare in power segment then the Hyundai Venue will be the best option to buy.
In the milage segment Vitara, Brezza will be the best option.
In features comparison, the Magnite comes all above others.

All the complete comparisons have been mentioned in the above table.

Now in last, if we will choose one car, then I will choose the HYUNDAI VENUE for Mr. D.S. Pughazhyendhii. The reason for choosing the car is its safety. The safety standards of that car are extraordinary as compare to others. As compare to Brezza, Venue is more weight than that. That means the riding quality, road presence will be the big factor. Also, Venue performance is much better than other cars comparatively. And there are so many cases where we can found, there are so many casualties happened with the Vitara Brezza. But in the case of Venue, the casualty is less. The Vitara Brezza engine displacement is 1462cc, whereas the Venue engine displacement is 998 cc. The brezza produces 103.26 bhp@6000 rpm, which is 15.09 bhp lesser than the venue despite the bigger engine.

Finally, if we will conclude, the Venue will be the best option for Mr. Pughazhyendhii, as per my personal recommendation, there will be no doubt.
