BENCHMARKING
It is a process of measuring the performance of a company's products, services, or processes against those of another business considered to be the best in the industry, aka “best in class.” The point of benchmarking is to identify internal opportunities for improvement.
According to the problem statement, Pughazhyendhii wants a car which
- Fits in his budget range of 8L – 10 L
- Is safe
- Is big (SUV/Sedan) as he’s got 4 members apart from him
- Has a decent mileage
- Is convenient for a crowded city
- Has considerable bootspace
Keeping all this in mind, I have shortlisted a few cars
The best choice in SUV would be Hyundai Venue SX which is a safe and beautiful car with an amazing fuel economy(18.76kmpl) and considerable bootspace.
The second best option in Sedan would be Maruti Suzuki Ciaz with an excellent mileage of 20.65 kmpl , scored 4 stars and has much room for lugguage( 510 litre!).
