Analysis & Design of RCC shear walls in the model using ETABS

Aim : To run the analysis and deisign the RCC shear walls shown in the model

Objectives:

To know the design of RC beam using ETABS analysis

To know tha basics of beam reinforcement detailing wit respect to primarystandards

To ensure the ductility reinforcement required by IS-13920-2016 been satisfied in ETABS design

Procedure :

Step 1: Open the ETABS file and run analysis.After the analysis check concrete frame design

Step 2 : Check is there any failures by click shear wall design tool and select display and choose PM failures

Step 3: Click any wall and check the details and if there is no failure occurs all the values of reinforcement ratio is within 4%

Step 4:For shear reinforcing,Go to concrete frame design and click display design info and choose shear reinforcing

Step 5: : For boundary element width,Go to concrete frame design and click display design info and choose pier edge or boundary zone width

Step 6: :Go to concrete frame design and click display design info and choose pier longitudinal renforcing
